p>Xbox has teamed up with the preservation society National Trust (opens in new tab) and some British creatives to make an Minecraft model of Corfe Castle. The intricate impressive model was commissioned by Xbox UK as part of the National Trust's festival of archaeology, encouraging people to create "their own version of the castle using the foundations." https://979uc.com/ </p>

p>To that end the first build was done by an YouTube? video maker named Grian who's work is featured in the video above as well as on YouTube?. (opens in a new tab) Grian created a build that highlights Corfe Castle's most striking highlights, such as its historical octagonal tower, miniature palace and "Gloriette". It's a medieval Kingly version I believe, of the Victorian folly.

p>"Grian has done an amazing job restoring Corfe Castle back to its former glory. He not only recreated the historical styles of the castle's grounds precisely and precisely, but he also incorporated his imagination. Martin Papworth, an archaeologist working for the National Trust, said that we cannot wait to see more creative designs by more young minds."

p>You can download Corfe's ruins yourself by checking out the Minecraft server corfe.ruinsreimagined.com. The ruin will also be available into a set for Minecraft: Education Edition for use in classrooms. You can find out more on Microsoft's site. (opens in new tab)
