p>Tubecon is a community-driven international YouTube? event that brings together YouTube? creators and their audiences in arena-sized public events. The first Tubecon took place in August 2014 at Hartwall Arena, Helsinki with over 5,000 attendees. 1 Tubecon has been held 25 times across four countries (Finland Sweden Spain Switzerland and Switzerland) with over 120,000 people who attended all events. p>Tubecon has seen a dramatic rise in its popularity throughout the years and so has the YouTube? and online influencers community. The biggest Tubecon events have attracted over 18,000 attendees and included more than 200 YouTubers? and online influencers.

p>Tubecon's event programming was created in collaboration with local online influencers. It has a variety of program elements like Meet & Greets and Tubecon Video Awards panels, and concerts. In 2018 Tubecon is being held in Finland, Sweden, Germany and Switzerland and letters of intent have been signed in Romania, Latvia and Austria. [3]

p>Tubecon 2015 was held at Hartwall Arena in August 2015[5] with over 10,000 visitors.

p>The Finnish Tubecon took place from 12-13 August 2016 with the second event day being sold out. The event drew 18,500 attendees. [6]

p>Sweden[edit]

p>Tubecon in Sweden began on January 6, 2016 in Stockholm with more than 4,500 attendees. They also conducted an autumn tour which started on September 9 in Vasteras and ended on the 10th of December in Kungsbacka. About 50 YouTube? creators toured 8 cities in total. [7] In 2016, more than 15,000 people visited Tubecon Sweden events.

p>The Tubecon was held in Germany on 20 February 2016 in the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen. Special VIP and Aftershow Tickets were also sold.

p>The Finnish event took place in Hartwall Arena between 12-13 August and attracted about 17,500 people. [8]

p>The first-ever Tubecon Spain was held on February 18 at the wiZink Center in Madrid. The event was attended by more than 200 Spanish creators who attended. [9]

p>Tubecon Switzerland was organized for the first time in Zurich's Hallenstation on the 29th of December. The event was attended by 2,500 attendees. [11]

p>The Finnish Tubecon took place for the first time in Messukeskus Helsinki on August 17-18. The event theme was "My Story". Around 200 Finnish YouTubers? participated in the event. Tubecon hosted also international creators from the US, Great Britain, Germany and Thailand in the first ever Tubecon World Meet. Bars and Melody, Jon Cozart, Softpomz, and MrTrashPack? were some of the international creators. A brand new TubeCity? concept was revealed during the event. This allowed different genres, such as fashion, beauty, gaming and food, to have their own distinct blocks within the city-like event space. Tubecon also introduced Tube Academy which was a brand-new educational track, which was open to filmmakers and anyone who is interested in getting more knowledge about the field of video production and industry.
