p>Tubecon is an international community-driven YouTube? event that brings together YouTube? creators and audiences in large-scale public events. The first Tubecon took place in August 2014 at Hartwall Arena, Helsinki with more than 5,000 people attending. Since then, Tubecon has been held 25 times in four different countries (Finland, Sweden, Spain and Switzerland) with a total of 120,000 people attending all events. [2]

p>Tubecon has seen a dramatic rise in its popularity throughout the years, as has the YouTube? and online influencers community. The biggest Tubecon events attracted more than 18,000 people , and included more than 200 YouTubers? and online influencers.

p>Tubecon's program for events was developed in collaboration with local online influencers. It features a variety of elements, including Meet & Greets and Tubecon Video Awards panels, and concerts. In 2018 Tubecon is taking place in Finland, Sweden, Germany and Switzerland and letters of intent have been signed in Romania, Latvia and Austria. [3]

p>Tubecon 2015 was held in Hartwall Arena, August 2015[5] and attracted more than 10,000 people.

p>The Finnish Tubecon was held between 12 and 13 August in 2016. The second day was completely sold out. The event was attended by 18,500 people. [6]

p>Sweden[edit]

p>Tubecon in Sweden began on 6 January 2016 in Stockholm with more than 4500 attendees. They also organized an autumn tour that started on September 9 in Vasteras, and ended on the 10th of December in Kungsbacka. About 50 YouTube? creators visited eight cities. [7] In 2016 more than 15,000 people visited Tubecon Sweden events.

p>The Tubecon took place in Germany on February 20th, 2016 in the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen. Special VIP and Aftershow Tickets were also offered.

p>The Finnish event was held at Hartwall Arena between 12-13 August and attracted about 17,500 people. [8]

p>The first-ever Tubecon Spain was organized on 18 February in the wiZink Center in Madrid. The event attracted over 4000 attendees and more than 200 Spanish creators. [9]

p>Tubecon Switzerland was first organized in Zurich's Hallenstation, 29 December. The event was attended by 2,500 attendees. [11]

p>The Finnish Tubecon was held in Messukeskus Helsinki from 17-18 August for the first time. The theme for the event was "My Story". Around 200 Finnish YouTubers? participated in the event. Tubecon hosted creators from around the world including the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Thailand, and Germany in the first ever Tubecon World Meet. Bars and Melody, Jon Cozart, Softpomz, and MrTrashPack? were some of the international creators. A brand new TubeCity? concept was unveiled at the event. https://files.fm/f/n9fubqfj4 It allowed different genres, including gaming, beauty, fashion, and food, to have their own sections within the city-like event space. A new initiative was also introduced. Tubecon also launched Tube Academy as an educational track inviting creators and anyone who wanted to know more about video making and the industry. [12]
