p>Minecraft maestro Markus Persson recently updated his blog with a status report on his new studio, Mojang Specifications, and news about the upcoming Halloween update to the game. He mentions that Mojang currently has six employees, including three programmers and a pixel artist, as well as a CEO.

p>Persson said that the Halloween update will contain six new kinds of block that have five "unique capabilities". A new monster, a brand new dimension and portals will be included. Persson explained later in a tweet that these portals will eventually be able to link to different Minecraft servers, although this functionality won't be implemented in the near future.
