p>Tubecon is an international community-driven YouTube? event that brings together YouTube? creators and their viewers in large-scale public events. The first Tubecon took place in August 2014 in Hartwall Arena, Helsinki with more than 5,000 attendees. [1] Since then Tubecon has been organized 25 times in 4 different countries so far (Finland, Sweden, Spain and Switzerland) with altogether over 120,000 attendees at all events. [2]

p>Tubecon has seen a dramatic increase in its popularity over the years and so has the YouTube? and the online influencer community. Tubecon's biggest events attracted over 18,000 attendees and included more than 200 YouTubers? and online influencers.

p>Tubecon event program is developed in collaboration with local online influencers. It includes a variety of program elements such as Meet & Greets, Tubecon Video Awards, panels and concerts. Tubecon 2018 will take place in Finland, Sweden and Germany, and letters of intent were signed in Romania, Latvia, and Austria. [3]

p>The Finnish Tubecon took place between 12 and 13 August 2016, with the second event day being sold out. The event was attended by 18,500 attendees. [6]

p>Tubecon in Sweden began in Stockholm on January 6, 2016. The event was attended by more than 4,500 people. They also conducted a tour in autumn which started on September 9 in Vasteras and ended on the 10th December in Kungsbacka. About 50 YouTube? creators visited 8 cities. [7] In 2016, more than 15,000 people attended Tubecon Sweden events.

p>The first ever Tubecon Spain was organized on 18 February in the wiZink Center in Madrid. The event saw more than 200 Spanish creators who attended. [9]

p>Tubecon Switzerland was first organized in Zurich's Hallenstation on the 29th of December. [10] Around 2,500 visitors attended the event. [11]

p>The Finnish Tubecon was held in Messukeskus Helsinki between 17-18 August for the first time. The event theme was "My Story". Around 200 Finnish YouTubers? attended the event. Tubecon hosted also international creators from the US, Great Britain, Germany and Thailand in the very first Tubecon World Meet. It allowed various categories, such as gaming, beauty, fashion, and food, to have their own sections within the city-like event space. Tubecon introduced Tube Academy as a brand new educational track that was open to filmmakers and anyone interested in getting more knowledge about the field of video production and industry. [12]
