p>Minecraft YouTuber? Technoblade has died aged 23, his family have confirmed the news in a poignant goodbye video made on his behalf.

p>The video, titled "so long nerds" and posted to his 10 million followers and showed his father calling him "the most amazing kid anyone could wish for".

/p>

p>The US internet personality rose to fame livestreaming and posting clips of himself playing the sandbox video game.

/p>

p>Technoblade announced to his fans last year that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

/p>

p>The farewell message, which was written moments before his death and read by his father, began: "Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you're watching this. I am dead."

/p>

p>He then revealed that his real name was in fact Alex, reminiscing about the time he manipulated viewers into thinking his name was Dave.

p>He said, "Thank you all so much for your support for my content over these years," he added. "If I had another hundred years to live, I believe Technoblade would be my choice again. They were the best years of my entire life."

p>The online star, who has won Minecraft tournaments and had thousands of fans who reminisced about his life in a humorous manner during the game explained in a fundraising video published in February that he been through chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a limb salvage operation after he developed a painful tumor in his right arm.

p>He died of sarcoma, which is an uncommon soft tissue and bone cancer.

/p>

p>He disclosed his cancer diagnosis in August 2021. He explained that he initially believed that the pain he felt was a result of an injury from repetitive stress due to excessive gaming. After his arm started swelling, it was taken to the hospital. He was diagnosed with cancer.

p>There isn't much information about Technoblade who kept his true identity a secret until the end. However, his online avatar was a picture a crown pig.

p>"I'll never forget the day I met Technoblade," recalled J Schlatt. "I got up early to play in the Minecraft tournament with him. I barely knew how to play... and the dude was able to carry us to win the whole event.

p>"Rest in peace, big guy. You'll always be a legend."

p>YouTuber? Captain Puffy Captain Puffy, aka Cara tweeted: "Rest in peace Technoblade He was always treating me with a smile and never denied me access to anything. He could not have been more gracious!"

p>She added: "Thank you for everything you've done for the community. It will never be the same without you."

p>Tommy Innit stated that "Technoblade" is legendary. From being a huge fan, to one of his friends, I can't describe how grateful I am to have been in his life. I know he is working in heaven to overcome God ...".

p>"I've been watching Technoblade's videos for the last hour," added Ludwig Ahgren. "He was so funny and so humble even in the most difficult of circumstances. He will always be a role model for me."
