p>Gamescom 2022 will feature new details for Minecraft Legends and Sega's Sonic Frontiers and could reveal more information about Modern Warfare 2 and Bethesda's forthcoming space RPG Starfield. This is the first live Gamescom since the beginning of 2019, but you can still watch the opening night stream hosted by Geoff Keighley, from the comfort of your own computer. Here's how you can watch Gamescom 2022.

p>The most important, and confirmed information is the release of more details and possibly more gameplay footage from Sonic Frontiers. But host Geoff Keighley also confirmed that the Gamescom Opening Show will include "30+ Games" It's possible that 2022's biggest releases and 2023's will be teased.

p>Call of Duty: Vanguard has a new gameplay trailer during the last event, so Modern Warfare 2 seems like an excellent choice for this year. Be sure to read our guide to the Modern Warfare 2 beta release date and how to play. We may also see FIFA 23, God of War: Ragnarok and the new survival horror The Callisto Protocol. Our top list of most wanted games includes Dead Space, the remake of Resident Evil 4, and obviously Starfield, but for now all we can do is speculate and hope.

p>The official Game Awards YouTube? channel and Twitch channel will stream the opening ceremony live. In addition to the above dates it's worth tuning in an hour earlier, as previous events have included a pre-show that also, sometimes, includes announcements and footage from the latest games. Tickets are still available through the official website if you plan to make the trip to Cologne, Germany.
