p>The latest controversy that has erupted in relation to "Squid Game," which is rated TV-MA in the United States, relates to the excitement it has created in children. This includes warnings from an Australian school that children as younger than 6 are creating games that were featured on the gory and dark show.

p>A council in Southern England recently sent an email to parents, urging parents to "be vigilant" following reports that "young people are copying games and violence" from the show. Similar warnings were issued in Australia by educators from Western Australia and Sydney.

p>In "Squid Game," characters compete for a cash prize by taking part in challenges that complement the traditional Korean children's games, with "losers" being killed at the end of each round. Further highlighting the show's twisted version of child's play the games are played out in highly stylized arenas, like an adult-sized children's playground. These traditional children's play areas are often with bloody stains and littered with corpses after every challenge. The show is definitely a craze within children's digital cultures.

p>YouTube? Kids has many popular channels that capitalize on the "Squid Game" trend. These channels are for viewers under the age of 12. The content on YouTube? includes How to Draw "Squid Game" character videos, and "Squid Game" games that are themed for the online video game Roblox.
