I don't agree. I'm from Europe, so I don't know if this is the reason, but for me and my female friends, equality means we're equal before the Law; we're equal legally: we can vote, have the same RIGHTS, are no longer considered as "inferior". But this does not mean we're biologically and psychologically equal! We're obviously different, and bring different things to a relationship. This is what is interesting. A man is stronger, whether we like it or not. This is why we expect him to be protective….and protection is also expressed by this kind of behaviour. To me, if a man does not have a gentleman behaviour and considers we should be 50-50 in everyhting, than I'd rather be gay….
