Mitt Romney put out a lot of ads. In fact, you couldn't turn on the TV or radio without hearing one of them. In spite of all his advertising, he still didn't win. Did Obama out-advertise him? Maybe. That's hard to quantify or qualify. But regardless, Romney's ads didn't put him in the White House.

malaysia election For those who say that the McCain? ticket represents change because he chose a woman nominee; you are using this as an excuse not to elect the first African-American President of the U.S. Admit it.

I saw Dan Webster this morning on television, waving thank you signs with children from his campaign that were having a good time, and playing nearby. It was a fitting final image of a political effort that turned away, from the hostility that you saw in almost every other race.

Considering only our own personal interests and voting accordingly makes us "egocentric." Here is a hint: that means "selfish!" (for readers of my blog, that corresponds with the "Lawless" level.) It also means we don't have much compassion for anyone outside of ourselves. I contend that the critical mass of this nation has grown beyond this stage of existence. I contend that more people than not have matured to a point where they can consider the needs of others - in life in general as in voting. So let's not just vote according to our own personal interests.

The idea is absurd, tax the American people more in an effort to stop something that is unstoppable. It's just another example of how McCain? gives up his ground to the left in the name of bipartisanship.

Folks, I think this time (the November, 2008 election) the stakes are high enough that we need to rise above our "egocentric" and "ethnocentric" considerations. We need to look at what is best for the nation - and more broadly - what is best for the world. This would make us "worldcentric." It is a more evolved stance.

https://portalsuararakyat.com/ forced politicians to "stand by their ad" by alerting everyone they were responsible for the spot. The rule targeted attack ads, however it seems to have done little damage as attacks are still prevalent. In fact it seems mudslinging has increased since McCain fiddled with commercials.

To further my point take a look at McCain?'s conservative score according to the The American Conservative Union. In 2006 McCain? scored a 65 (with 100 being the most conservative). Looking at the overall trend, he started out near 100 and took a huge fall in the 90's, plummeting to under 70. Proving that McCain? really was the conservative who lost his way.
