p>Minecraft YouTuber? Technoblade has died at the age of 23 following a year-long battle with cancer, his family announced on Friday.

p>In a YouTube? clip titled "so long geeks" the father of the creator of the content posted a message from his son to his subscribers.

p>"Hello everyone, Technoblade is here," began the message. "If you're watching this. I am dead."

p>Technoblade, who kept his identity private and kept his identity a secret, revealed his real name as Alex in the video. He also thanked his fans for their support purchasing merchandise, and channel memberships , and joked that his siblings "are going to college."

p>"If I had another hundred lives I'm pretty sure I'd prefer to be Technoblade again every single time since those were the happiest years of my life. I hope you guys enjoyed my content and that I made some of you laugh and I wish you all on to live long, prosperous and happy lives."

p>Technoblade has amassed almost 11 million YouTube? subscribers and 3.7million Twitter followers in just 10 years. He shared his passion for Minecraft, which allows users to create virtual worlds from blocks and tell their own stories. In August 2021, he made it public by revealing to his followers that he had been diagnosed with cancer. The news was shared via a video of him playing Minecraft.

p>According to his father, Technoblade wrote his final words around eight hours prior to his death. Technoblade's father, who was still in tears said that his son was "the most wonderful child" anyone could ask for. He added: "I miss Technoblade."

p>Sarcoma Foundation of America sent an official statement to CNN in which it paid tribute to Technoblade and offering its condolences to his family.

p>Brandi Felser CEO of the charity, stated in the statement: "Technoblade rallied his supporters to raise over $500,000 up to date to support research into sarcoma. This allowed SFA to award Technoblade research grants. Through these efforts, he leaves an impactful legacy that will be felt by generations."

p>Felser said that Technoblade will be honored with the organization's Courage Award, which is an annual honor given to those who inspire others to "create hope and a better way of life for the sarcoma patient population" later in the year.
