p>Adults and children alike aren't just playing Minecraft in their millions: they're watching YouTube? videos made using Minecraft and they are receiving billions of views.

p>Octoly, an online video provider has released a report that aims to quantify this. It states that Minecraft videos were viewed 30.8 billion times in June 2014. Only 183 million of those views came from Mojang the publisher of Mojang.

p>This is almost three times the number of views for Grand Theft Auto videos. Octoly estimates that Grand Theft Auto was the second most-watched gaming brand on YouTube? with more than 12 billion views. It was ahead of Call of Duty (10.2 Billion), Angry Birds (6 Billion) and Halo (4.8 Billion).

p>Popular channels that featured a heavy or complete Minecraft focus were also popular in September, including Vegetta (8th in the world with 164 million views in September) as well as The Diamond Minecart (10th spot with 161.8 million views).).

p>Mojang has been assisting its YouTube? community since the beginning of Minecraft. They have avoided disputes over copyright with video creators and have a non-judgmental approach to the content of their videos.

p>"We have lots of people who make their living making videos about Minecraft. Vu Bui Mojang's chief operating officer, told the Guardian that the economics of Minecraft are incredible.

p>"That does not mean anything to anyone and I would say that it actually adds to Minecraft it is to witness people who are incredibly skilled at doing things. We've basically outsourced YouTube? videos to a global community of millions of people and what they come up with is more innovative than anything we could ever create by ourselves."
