The video is different from the channel's usual aesthetic which is characterized by vibrant bricks with pixelated colors. Instead, Technoblade's father is shown sitting in a chair with a small white dog on an unmistakably white background.

p>His father, who does not reveal his name and reads an email from his son that begins: "Hello, everyone. Technoblade is here. http://frostpansy1.jigsy.com/entries/general/Minecraft-Fan-makes-Amazing-Star-Wars-Build-Wins-Contest If you're watching this, I am dead."

p>The message continues to reveal Technoblade's initial name, Alex, which he did not use on the internet. The video also includes a handful of images of Alex with his loved ones. Alex had never appeared in his YouTube? videos, preferring to portray himself as his character: a crown-crowned, sword-wielding pig.

p>"If I had another hundred lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade repeatedly," Alex's letter says. "Those were the most enjoyable years of my life."

p>His father, who remains emotional throughout the video says he and his son talked for months about whether or not to create the final video. The father of the son says that Alex wrote the letter and died within eight hours of writing it.

p>The video ends with a statement written by the writer that is believed to be the mother of Alex, who is not named. She stated Alex was not famous and self-deprecating in spite of his channel's popularity growing.

p>She wrote that Technoblade was always looking for ways to delight and reward their fans. He gave away prizes online, encouraged good sportsmanship, and, most importantly, shared his Minecraft adventures to provide entertainment and laughter.

p>Alex's family could not reach the player on Friday. Hypixel, a gaming company said that Alex's family had requested no comment be sent to them. Don Pireso, the company administrator, wrote in a direct tweet that "The video they shared includes all the information they are confident about sharing."

p>Alex uploaded his August video on his YouTube? channel, where he first acknowledged his diagnosis of cancer. The video, which featured Alex's off camera comments and displayed the game. p>On social media, Technoblade's family and fans praised him for his humor and for being a role model for Minecraft players.
