p>YouTuber? from Minecraft Technoblade has died aged 23, his family have confirmed the news in a poignant farewell video posted on behalf of him.

p>The video, entitled "solong geeks", was posted to his 10 million followers and showed his father saying that he was "the most amazing child anyone could ever hope for".

p>The US internet celebrity gained fame via livestreaming and uploading videos of himself playing the sandbox video game.

/p>

p>In the year 2000, Technoblade revealed to fans that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

/p>

p>The message to say goodbye that he wrote moments before his death and read by his father, read: "Hello everyone, Technoblade here. This is what you should be looking at. I am dead."

/p>

p>He then revealed that his real name was in fact Alex recalling the time he tricked viewers into thinking his name was Dave.

/p>

p>"Thank you all for your support of my work over the years," he continued. "If I had another hundred lives I'm sure I'd prefer to be Technoblade over and over again since those were the most enjoyable years of my life."

p>The online star, who took home Minecraft tournaments and had a horde of fans chatting about his life in a humorous way during the game explained in a fundraising video released in February that he been through chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a limb salvage procedure after he was diagnosed with a painful tumour in his right arm.

p>He died from sarcoma, which is an uncommon bone and soft tissue cancer.

/p>

p>In August 2021, he revealed his diagnosis of cancer. He explained that he initially believed that the pain he was experiencing was due to a repetitive stress injury from excessive gaming. After his arm started swelling, he went to hospital and was diagnosed with cancer.

p>Little is known about Technoblade who kept his real identity a secret until the end. However, his avatar on the internet was a photo of the crowned porcine.

p>His YouTube? channel has 10.8 million subscribers. His bio says: "I play too many video games. I may not be the best, but I do have hot elbows."

p>Following the announcement of his death, gamers, friends and YouTubers? paid tribute online.

p>YouTuber? Captain Puffy also known as Cara, tweeted: "Rest In Peace Technoblade. He always treated me with pure kindness. I was never excluded from anything." He could not be more gracious!"

p>She said, "Thanks for everything you have done for the community. It will never be the same without you."

p>Tommy Innit stated that "Technoblade" is a legend. I can't express how thankful I am to have been a part of his life as a fan to one of his closest friends. I'm sure he's mulling in heaven on how to defeat God ..."

p>Ludwig Ahgren added, "I've been watching Technoblade's for over an hour." "He was so funny and humble in the toughest of times. I'll always look up to him."

p>Quackity also expressed his gratitude on social media, posting: "I had the opportunity to convey to Technoblade the admiration and respect I have for him, not only for the massive impact that he had on us all and his incredible humour, but also for maintaining his humour and wit even in the darkest moments. I will miss him so much."

p>Technoblade's dad thanked fans in the video that he sent to fans saying: "You meant a lot to him."

p>He said that a portion of the profits from online orders for the merchandise of his son's passing would now go to charities.

p>The video concluded with a letter from his family. It stated: "We, Technoblade, wanted you to know how much he loved and respected his colleagues and fans."

p>"From Technoblade's very first days on the internet, he was constantly figuring out ways to please and reward his followers by giving away prizes online as well as encouraging good sportsmanship and of course, sharing his Minecraft adventures to entertain and laugh.

p>"Even after his successes He managed to maintain his humour and good nature, and played with a delightful balance of self-confidence and self-deprecating humor."

p>Minecraft lets players create their very own virtual world by digging holes and collecting blocks.

p>Recent updates to the game have been utilized to help children explore and improve their skills and knowledge in the field of careers, and to find solutions to real world problems such as flooding.

p>Ted Nevison described Technoblade to be "effortlessly hilarious" as well as "endlessly talented". "Gone too quickly," he said.

p>Bad Boy Halo also paid tribute, adding: "Words can't express how much you'll be missed. The lives you've touched and the impact you've had on them will last forever."
