p>YouTuber? and Minecraft streamer Technoblade has died at the age of 23 after a long battle with cancer stage four.

p>The content creator from San Francisco who kept his identity secret and only revealed his name in the final video as "Alex" became famous after posting videos of himself playing Minecraft online in 2013. He was able to acquire more than 10 million subscribers.

p>He was diagnosed with stage four cancer in August. He had spent the majority of the last year away from the public eye while undergoing chemotherapy.

p>Although it isn't known what form of cancer Alex was suffering from, he went on to raise money for sarcoma charities - and in December Alex announced that he'd undergone surgery to remove a tumor from his arm.

p>His father who is not publicly known and has not been identified, shared the sad news of his son's death with his many followers in a video posted today on Technoblade's YouTube? channel. The video was titled "So long nerds" and included a posthumous goodbye message from the YouTube? star.

p>He described his son as "the most amazing child" and shared an audio recording of his son. He stated that if he could have another hundred lives, he would prefer to be Technoblade again because those were the most memorable years of my life.

p>He had three younger sisters and one brother who was named Chris as well as the dog Floof who was featured in his video of his farewell with his father.

p>In one video, he explained that his parents divorced and he lived with his father, who owns a movie studio.

p>After graduating from high school, he took a gap-year before moving to Chicago to learn English.
