p>Gamescom 2022 kicks off August 23, and if you're watching from the UK the event starts at 7pm, with viewers on the US East Coast able to watch at 2PM, while those on PT will begin at 11AM.

p>The most important, confirmed news is the announcement of more details and possibly more gameplay footage from Sonic Frontiers. But host Geoff Keighley also confirmed that the Gamescom Opening Show will feature "30+ Games" It's possible that 2022's biggest releases and 2023's will be teased.

It is possible that we will also see God of War: Ragnarok, FIFA 23, and upcoming survival horror The Callisto Protocol. Our personal most-wanted items include Dead Space, Resident Evil 4's remake and Starfield. But for the moment, we can only speculate and think about it.

It's worth tuning in a half hour before the event because previous events have featured announcements as well as gameplay footage. Of course, if you're considering making the trip to Cologne, Germany, and watching Gamescom in person, you can still buy tickets on the official website of the event. Xbox will also have its own stream at Gamescom, where it's expected to show Minecraft Legends and A Plague Tale: Requiem. You can stream it on any of the Xbox social channels, including YouTube?.
