p>Minecraft YouTuber? Technoblade has died aged 23. His family have confirmed this in a touching farewell video shared on behalf of his family.

p>The video, which was titled "so long nerds" and shared to his 10 million followers and showed his father calling him "the most amazing kid you could ever want".

p>The US internet sensation gained fame by livestreaming and sharing videos of himself playing the sandbox video game.

/p>

p>Technoblade announced to his fans last year that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

/p>

p>His father read his goodbye message hours before his death. It began with "Hello everyone, Technoblade here." This is what you should be seeing. I am dead."

p>He later revealed that his real name was in fact Alex and reminiscing about the time he had pranked viewers into thinking his name was Dave.

p>"Thank you all for your support of my work throughout the years," he continued. "If I had another hundred lives I'm sure I'd choose to be Technoblade each time since those were the most enjoyable years of my life."

p>The online star, who took home Minecraft tournaments and had a horde of fans who reminisced about his life in a humorous fashion during the game explained in a video for fundraising posted in February that he had received radiation therapy, chemotherapy and a limb salvage operation after developing a painful tumour in his right arm.

p>He died from sarcoma which is a rare soft tissue and bone cancer.

/p>

p>He revealed his diagnosis of cancer in August 2021, explaining that he initially believed that the pain he was experiencing was a result of an injury to the muscles from repetitive stress due to playing too much. After his arm started swelling, the patient was admitted to the hospital and was subsequently diagnosed with cancer.

p>It is not known much about Technoblade, who kept his identity concealed until the end. However, his avatar on the internet was a photograph of the crown-crowned pig.

p>He has 10.8 million viewers on his YouTube? channel, where he bio reads: "I play video games way too often. It's possible that I'm not the most skilled but I do have hot elbows."

p>Following the news of his death, fans, fellow gamers and YouTubers? paid tribute online.
