p>The Minecraft Forum is an open, community-driven forum for Minecraft. It was founded by a community member, citricsquid, on June 16 2009. Since then, it has been run by the community with Mojang Studios not being involved in the day-to-day operation (although certain Mojang Studios employees do have accounts).

p>Redstone Wire Ltd. was formed in September 2010[1] to manage this site. https://www.paperpage.in/read-blog/121959 On November 15, 2010, Curse bought the site[2][3]. Curse owned and operated the site until it was incorporated into the MagicFind? group of MagicFind? in June 2019. Curse developed the forum software Cobalt in-house.

p>The forum functions as an online central hub for the Minecraft community, with game tweaks, servers, custom maps, and resource packs being shared. The registration process is free and anyone who has or without a Minecraft account is permitted to access the site. Forum administration is handled by PuyoDead? and citricsquid. The forum moderation team is made up over 100 volunteers.
