p>Through my time as a Minecraft player, I have observed the basic stages that an average player goes through when "infected". I'm sure you will recognize these stages.

p>1. The Infection: Minecraft is almost never discovered by anyone on their own. Most Minecraft players are introduced to the game through close friends, or here about it on the internet. It was something I learned about after playing it with my friend for hours. YouTube? can also be a source of infection for a lot of people. 2. The Arrival: Now that the player has seen Minecraft, he will desire it. Badly. The player has the option of pirate (shun them) or buy the game in order to purchase it. 3. The Begining The Beginning: This is the first time a player will play Minecraft. It will be a shaming game. The player will not know how to get anything done! I myself had to watch six YouTube? videos to figure out how to open up Minecraft and create a brand new world. 4. Who is a fan of survival mode? : When a Minecraft player first begins, the game, he will almost never play survival mode. He sees survival as boring and hard, but creativity is thrilling and enjoyable. You can do everything! Fly! You can take down creepers! You can create full-on diamond armor! 5. Creative gets boring: The player has been playing Minecraft for around a week now. All he really does is construct dirt houses and kill creepers using full armor and enchanted weapons. It's enjoyable, but it's becoming boring. The player isn’t very skilled and there's nothing to challenge him. It's time to test survival mode. 6. The Beginning of Survival: Many players will become bored with creative games and switch to survival. The player uses the internet and finds out how to play.The survival phase lasts about one year. 7. The MADNESS: This is one of the worst phases of the Minecraft infection. When a player is in the survival map and dies, chaos is triggered. One characteristic of this stage that can aid in identifying it is the "engraged maniac howl". 8. First Break: A player may typically take up to one month off from playing after dying or losing diamonds. 9. Cheating: After a break from the game, the player choses to go back to the game. He pretends to have never died and hack his items back. 10. The End: If the player is skilled enough, he will eventually kill the dragon enderdragon. He will then boast about it to his friends. 11. Second Break: Survival is over, and creativity is boring. What's left for infected? 12. Creative: Most players be creative for one month after having won survival. They will build houses, create mob arenas, identify hight limits and even build their own homes. 13. The Divergence after trying something creative, infected players may take a different path. Some infected will show signs of multiple paths.

p>Route A: The player is able to begin to play on servers

p>Route B: The player will download maps to play

p>Route D: The player downloads and make mods.

p>Route E: The player hosts the server.

/p>

p>Route F: The player will quit Minecraft.

/p>

p>Route G: The user (much like me) will create Minecraft custom maps.

/p>

p>Route H: The player will be entangled into a recurring and dangerous cycle of greed and become terribly obsessed with Minecraft. The player will lose all of his family and friends.

p>Once you have a better understanding of the common stages of the Minecraft infection, try to recognize them in yourself. Refusing to acknowledge the issue is not an option.
