This year Halloween retailers are saying there is an explosion of orders for Barack Obama Masks, John McCain? masks and Sarah Palin costumes. Since Obama and McCain? basically wear suits, there is no real need for a complicated costume. A standard dress suit worn with a purchased mask does the trick.

malaysia election I've watched and heard the two men clearly in rapport with each other. I've listened to the outcome of negotiations where compromises have clearly been made for the higher good, the benefit of the British nation. I've watched people from two opposing parties working co-operatively rather than the normal aggressive, confrontative dog fights which are oh so familiar in political life.

In Canada, by law election campaigns must run for a minimum of 36 days, but there is no mandated maximum time. Yet https://cotkan.ru/user/Refsgaard24Raynor/ in Canada in the last 100 years was in 1926, when the campaigning dragged on for all of 74 days.

With a shaky voting record and social beliefs far from the conservative median, McCain? is certainly not the GOP's knight in shining armor. Talk radio has assailed him for abandoning the party on key issues and they're absolutely right.

And then the Obama campaign became besieged with 'why didn't you pick Hillary?' The initial reaction turned from surprise and shock to anger and resentment. 'How dare McCain? appoint a woman?' Even Sarah was later to state that perhaps Obama regretted not picking Hillary Clinton.

Folks, I think this time (the November, 2008 election) the stakes are high enough that we need to rise above our "egocentric" and "ethnocentric" considerations. We need to look at what is best for the nation - and more broadly - what is best for the world. This would make us "worldcentric." It is a more evolved stance.

Poor Jon Huntsman. A few short years ago he appeared to be the ultimate GOP general election candidate. Turns out he would be the 2008 Detroit Lions: undefeated in the preseason and endlessly defeated in the regular season. He just didn't live up to the hype. He has the background of a good candidate; he might be able to come back in upcoming years. He could do a lot of good for the GOP, but he needs to be taken seriously first.

In short, if nobody wants what you're selling, it doesn't matter how much money you spend or how hard you work. You're not going to make any real money. There MUST be a demand for what you're selling. Now, Mitt Romney didn't totally bomb out. He got over 45 million votes. So the demand for what he was "selling" was there. It just wasn't enough to make him a winner. The good news is, we can still win even if we don't get the top prize.
