p>YouTuber? and Minecraft streamer Technoblade has passed away at 23 years old after an extended battle with cancer of stage 4.

p>The creator of content from San Francisco who kept his identity a secret until revealing his name in the end of the video as "Alex" became famous after posting videos of himself playing Minecraft online in 2013. He then was able to acquire more than 10 million subscribers.

p>He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in August. He was able to spend the majority of the time away from the media being treated for cancer.

/p>

p>While it is not known what form of cancer Alex was suffering from however, he was able to raise funds for sarcoma charity and in December, he revealed that he had undergone surgery to remove a tumor from his arm.

p>His father who is not publicly known and has not been identified, shared the sad news of his son's passing with his numerous followers in a post today to Technoblade's YouTube? channel. The video was titled "So long nerds" and included a posthumous goodbye message from the YouTube? star.

p>He called his son "the most incredible child" and shared an audio recording of his son. He stated that if he could have another hundred lives, he would choose to be Technoblade once more because those were the most memorable years of my life.
