Now my 18 yr old he is in Lewisville High School and he stays to himself and has mostly white friends but he does has 1 black friend he hangs out with. He told me he is looked at as black.
I asked him a few months ago about some of the girls he hangs with why he doesn’t date one of them he said “mom I am black and they are white” I was like so!
He is the one of my 2 boys who is very light complected with blue grey eyes! His hair is dark black he has my German nose and is absolutely handsome. He said they think he is cute but they leave it at that. It is amazing the difference 5 yrs make.
Now I wonder if since my 13 yr old Trae he is the football star and basketball star on his teams. I wonder if that is what makes it different. My 18 yr old Terry was not in sports, he took classes like advertising, journalism and sports medicine. Who knows but I do know one thing they are both very good and well liked kids from their teachers to their classmates.
