NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of tourists from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists during July 2022. It was a four percent increase over the year before and 71,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in August 2022.

Not far behind the United States, Canada is in the process of surpassing the number of tourists visiting Israel by 7,200 tourists in the month of July 2022 and 6000 in August.
