Once you get the hang of it to stay away from porn, it’s actually very easy. It is all in your own mind, nothing more. Funny though, there was this 1 time I reached like day 10 -14 (didn’t know exact) and there was this girl who just said to me I looked amazing and things. We even kissed! So staying abstinence maybe actually does help! I also feel a lot better the longer I do not release. However, it sounds obvious you release when you have a NE, but does it ”set the counter to 1” from abstinence?

Now are there more guys who have this? Does a NE even count as a ”release” for those 7 days? How do you guys think about it? And is there some kind of way to prevent them? Furthermore, in the time I stayed abstinence I never edged or something.

@Ed , 60 days is a pretty long time! Respect! I would like to achieve that to. You never had any NE?

Mattias August 30, 2012 at 1:40 pm @ Jerry. A late thanks for the replies. A girl in my apartment building gave me looks the other day so I talked for a few minutes about her dog. I was in a good, relaxed mood so I could easily have asked for her number, but odds are good that I will run into her again soon. There were features about her face I didn’t like but she’s a rung on the ladder, so to speak.

I’m cleaning up my act currently: doing big changes to the apartment, finally taking the driver’s license, taking guitar and singing lessons, maybe joining a band, applying for trainee jobs as an electrician. I’m a late bloomer. Still weighing options about what kind of girl to settle for: either someone vanilla here in Sweden, or the kinky one in USA. I’m planning on making a trip there by Christmas.
