<p>Fans of the video game Minecraft have been expressing anger following the announcement of creator Mojang and Microsoft agreed to a $2.5bn (PS1.5bn) deal.
</p>
<p>After the announcement, the book was attacked on social media for selling over 54 million copies.
</p>
<p>Microsoft, Mojang and Minecraft were all on the radar on Monday afternoon.
</p>
<p>If you've never had the chance to try it before, players can build structures using retro Lego-style blocks.
</p>
<p>AstrosMC posted on a Minecraft forum, "Microsoft will kill us."
</p>
<p>Thomas Heath wrote on Newsbeat's Facebook page: "Microsoft are just going to mess everything up. https://www.irc101.org/ If this happens, I'm out.
</p>
<p>Mojang's founder, Markus "Notch" Persson, has previously criticised Microsoft.
</p>
<p>However there were a variety of reactions to the sale were positive.
</p>
<p>Tom Bramwell, the outgoing editor-in-chief of eurogamer.net tweeted: "Clearly I am not @notch, but I can relate to his comment about not wanting to be defined by something throughout your life. Godspeed!"

<p>Blackspawn wrote: "I think he's a excellent person and I completely understand and support his decision."
