The list could go on and on but the longer a man is single and dating the longer the list will grow because after a certain period of time he should know better than to make certain mistakes. Of course women also have a list of rookie mistakes that may be the same or look different than a guy’s list.

That next Saturday night I went out and got three numbers including one from a very curvy bartender. Out of three calls one called me back, typical DC numbers game (you know this). I set up a date to go back to the scene of the crime, my favorite sushi spot. Date night my head was shaved clean, I wore the exact same outfight from the failed date, down to the boxers. I threw the tie from that night away so I rocked a new one. Sprayed on the VK signature scent and your boy was looking and smelling extra krispy.

At dinner I ordered a monster combo that sent our taste buds on a flavor journey through different worlds. I was funny but I wasn’t putting on a comedy show. The dialog took different twists and turns allowing me show different intellectual sides but holding out critical information about myself staying slightly mysterious. Then she asked me about dating, the exact question I bombed on last time. This time I took my time, swallowed a piece of sushi and took a sip of beer. My answer was humble, letting her know I’ve made some mistakes, have some regrets but have learned a thing or two. It was so smooth she raised her glass to toast it (true story).
