The computer operator takes a shot at the fundamental hardware and different networks to troubleshoot and restore performance dependent on strategies set up by the state DTI. Job Role:

• Work on multiple systems and computers for large enterprise systems. • Controls all manufacturing positions running on the main operating system and customer server environment • Constantly monitors every single basic system and application. • Interface with Mainframe and Data Base staff, IT UI staff, end-users, and admins. • Contact IBM and OMB (Facility) dealers for support or issues with hardware and building issues. • Plan batch assignments from requests. Also, make job category changes on each request. • Plan tapes for off-site storage and get tapes that get back from off-site storage • Take a visit through the building and the Data Center. • Escort guests to data centres or other security zones. • Manage classified information consistently.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of JES2, Z/OS, JCL • Software packages utilized in day-to-day Control/M Scheduling, Auto Operator processing • Monitoring of ATMs • Knowledge of printers • Administrative skills • Progressed time management skills to organize workload • Progressed oral, written, and relational skills • Analytical skills • Network monitoring skills • Technical support skills • Experience in FIS Core Banking • Junior college/two-year college training • 8-10 years of experience working with mainframe/supercomputers liked • Demonstrated team administration experience
